5G RAN L1/PHY Engineer Position

The OpenAirInterface Foundation is seeking a U.S.-based telecom software engineer to support the development and optimization of its open-source 5G/NR L1/PHY stack. The position focuses on the gNB physical layer, with responsibilities including the implementation of digital beamforming techniques for improved efficiency. Candidates must have strong C/C++ programming skills, in-depth knowledge of 3GPP 38.2xx and 38.331 specifications (Release 15 or later), and proven experience in 5G/NR L1 development. Experience with RAN software, SIMD intrinsics, and version control using Git is also required.
